MMI TRANSFER KEY SHIPYARD AND MARINE SERVICE AGENCIES TO ENCOMPASS MARINE
Encompass Marine Ltd and Marine Marketing International Limited (MMI), two leading shipyard and marine services agencies, based in the UK, have announced an arrangement to transfer several key ship-repair and marine services agencies from MMI to Encompass Marine, which took effect from the 1st June 2023. The shipyards and marine service companies involved are:
Malaysia Marine and Heavy Engineering
Tru-Marine PTE/ PMAX One
EDR Antwerp Shipyard
Detyens Shipyards Inc.
Colombo Shipyard
ASYAD (Oman Drydock Company)
Namibia Drydock & Ship Repair (Namdock)
PB Asher
Under the terms of the agreement, a structured process has been implemented to manage the transition of the principals over the coming 12 months, and both Encompass and MMI can be contacted for all enquiries for the listed principals.
MMI and Encompass Marine will continue to operate as separate businesses, for their remaining and existing principals, whilst working closely together to execute the smooth transition of the eight listed principals from MMI to Encompass.
